pickI love Chris Carter‘s books! It‘s been a few years since I‘ve read them so I‘ve forgotten how the creep/gross factor goes up a notch in the next book. There is always a “what..the..actual..f***?!” moment. It‘s been four years since I last read this book so I was once again surprised by the reveal of the murderer. pickBook 4 of the Detective Robert Hunter series. Not as good as the first ones, but still a page turner that I did not want to set down. Carter was stingy in giving the reader clues, so I had no hope of figuring out the killer while I read. However I enjoyed just going along for the ride. It‘s gritty and gory, so definitely not for the feint of heart!

As part of a Group Read, I have started The Death Sculptor, the fourth book in the excellent Robert Hunter Series. Great books, but a tad on the gritty side in places.
