pickI have a new list of authors to try, thanks to this anthology! Of course, I'm excited that two of my favorites—Kathy Reichs and Lee Child—were matched up. Their story was among the especially good ones.
I was interested to learn that The International Thriller Writers (ITW) no longer charges membership dues. Instead, it publishes anthologies like this to support itself. So, I've added the 2014 anthology, FaceOff, to my wish list, as well.

I‘ve been so out of sorts lately. Between conferences and vacation I‘m all off. As a result I haven‘t read or posted much. Slowly getting back into my groove. Started this book and love meeting a whole new set of characters to follow. The first story features my favorite game warden, Joe Pickett. Each story is introduced by Lee Childs and he tells a bit about the authors, their characters and how the story came about.

This book was such a pleasure to read. It was a combination of a walk with characters who are old friends with new topics and fresh writing. I can‘t imagine a thriller fan who wouldn‘t enjoy this.

A perfect chance for me to read popular authors that I tend to not really read. Now to impatiently wait for my hold.
I really enjoy these thriller anthologies. I find some new authors and get to see some of my favorite characters together in one story. I have to admit that I liked seeing Reacher and Temperance Brennan work together 😉
