Enjoy!
And when I say “treehouse,“ I don't mean any old treehouse - I mean a 13-story treehouse!
I enjoyed the beginning of the book when the boys are walking the reader through the different things in the treehouse.
Such a fun and imaginative book! The main characters Andy and Terry are goofy and live in a wild and wonderful treehouse that is 13-stories! They need to write a book, but are running into distractions. I loved the way the book was written and was entertained the whole time.
We loved the entire series. Looking for something fun and laugh out loudable?
I read this book for my kids and must admit that I got a bit carried away myself. A true treat for the kids! Imaginative, impeccably creative, hilarious and a bit crazy in the end.
This series has had a few cover changes. For the first 3-5 books there seemed to be different covers for the HC and the PB. By book 5 a simple cover was vogue and the the series still has new books coming out.

(Borrowed as an e-book from the library.)
Checked this out for my 9yo. Silly, imaginative fun; I mean, there‘s a tank full of man-eating sharks in the treehouse. The writer and illustrator put themselves in the story and it‘s fun reading their banter
Kids seem to like this series. It is goofy. Lots of pages with few words. Funny illustrations. If they like Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Consider this series too.
My 7-y/o loves this series, but got very upset with this book. Dr. Stupido un-invents everything he doesn't like, and ends up uninventing the whole universe before he is tricked into uninventing himself. It's meant to be funny, but my son stopped being amused when flying cats were uninvented and almost shed tears of rage when Stupido started uninventing people. 😐
#AxtonBookNerd loves this series! He devoured the first one, got the second (not shown) and third from the school library, and today we picked up the fourth and fifth from the regular library. His review: “If you like Captain Underpants, you‘ll love this series. I really like the characters because they are funny and they come up with cool things to add to their treehouse.” 😆 Thanks @MrsMalaprop & Clem for sending the first book!

M‘s #juniorreaders package arrived today! She dove right in to the book, which is one she hasn‘t read yet! 😍
Getting organized for our #jryulebookswap 👏📚👩👦
@MeganAnn Are you guys familiar with this series?
Not read them yet but this author is normally good for some #quickreads. I'm missing book 3 and 4. #anditsaugust
My darling 11 year old decided he needed to organise his books before he went to school this morning. I'm both impressed - who doesn't love a good book-organising session? - but also a little amazed at the number of books he owns. Wonder where he gets that from? 😂😂😂 This is only a selection as well - this doesn't include his picture books or his non-fiction books!
Thank you Andy Griffiths. For the very first time my 6yo is reading fiction for fun and not for homework. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Note the cast on the left arm. It has been one of those months with multiple doctors visits. The bone hasn't healed straight but hoping he doesn't have to have an operation. 🙏
4⭐️ this is another book/ series that many patrons have recommended to me, and as well as the Amulet series, is rarely seen on the shelves. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about, and it finally got back on its shelf. It's a very quick read ( took me all about 3O ish minutes?), and a very funny, and imaginative story. Definitely going to finish this series !
I mostly read this to see what the fuss was about - since this book is rarely sighted ON library shelves. Can definitely see why it's popular with a younger crowd - Terry and Andy get mixed up in some crazy shenanigans whilst trying to finish writing/illustrating their latest book. Cats get turned into canaries, bananas turn giant and you find out exactly what rooms make up a 13-story tree house... good mix of illustrations and words.
Is this the most Aussie joke of all time? 🐊
I'd love to hear what phrases people associate with Australia that they've picked up from books or movies...
