The story is about The Pigeon who really wants a puppy, but soon has second thoughts about how badly he wants one. This is a humorous little story about a very indecisive Pigeon. Students will definitely get a laugh after getting to the end of this book. RA would be a good way to engage students with this story.

pickTonight in Little's Litsy, he loves this new addition to our library. Surprising twist at the end kept him reading (well, me reading, but you know what I mean).
pickThis is an adorable book! This pigeon really knows what he wants..at least he thinks he does! The pigeon throws a tantrum & tries to manipulate the reader's emotions. I would read this book to introduce the responsibility of having pets to my class & to teach the moral "be careful what you wish for".
