Lucky in Love | 
pickI love Kasie West and I‘ve found that all of her books are fairly easy reads for me that make me want to keep flipping the pages. This book had a fun idea where the main character wins the lottery and soon cant figure out who in her life genuinely wants to be there for her and not her money. Until she starts getting closer to her coworker. I highly recommend!

Summary : Maddie who has a poor family just turned 18 and won the lottery but in the long run she had trouble trusting people even her family but in the end she fell in love with her friend/co-worker in the zoo

I found myself asking "is this real?" and "really, would a family do that?" But anyway, it was such a feel good book that I didn't mind digging into.
panI wanted something fun to read but I think I am too old for this one. The choices Maddie made after winning the lottery made me insane. Another book completed for #24in48 at least.
so-soThis was a cute summer read, but not one of my favorite of Kasie West‘s. I just found myself very annoyed by the main character.
My nephew checked out my book to see if I was reading anything “dirty”.
I passed.
pick4.5 stars I absolutely love every single book Kasie West has written so far although I still need to read her latest that I‘m sure I‘ll love as well. Her books are fun and sweet and quick reads, this one was as well. I read in one sitting. Great characters, my fave was Seth (great book boyfriend material). This is a book I‘m sure many teens will love and I definitely recommend.

pickThis is my favorite Kasie West so far! I was skeptical of the plot considering Windfall also came out this year (about a teen winning the lottery) and I did not like that one at all. However, this one was so cute, and I felt that Maddie was a realistic character. She made mistakes, but she still had her head straight on her shoulders. I liked the additional aspect of family problems and her trust issues. Also I loved the fluffy romance. So cute!!
pickThis was fun, cute, and the exact right mix of fluff and serious. It was exactly what I needed on a blah rainy weekend. I liked it much better than the other teen wins lottery and learns about life and love that came out this year. (Why did we need two of these in one year?)
My 3rd or 4th Kasie West novel. Super cute so far. I would like 50 million dollars.
bailedI have been wanting to read this book since I heard of but I just couldn't get into the headspace to enjoy it. I was cringing at the spending after Maddie won the lottery and it was seriously giving me anxiety. I didn't mind the predictability of the story I just had a hard time enjoying what was going on.
The responsible adult in me is yelling at Maddie to invest her lottery winnings and not to trust people at her school who are trying to be her friend now.
Picked up some more books I requested from the library. I'd say my shirt is perfect for the day.

so-soCute story. West is a good story-teller, but this particular one was a little underwhelming.
Strange that there are two YA books out this year about lottery winners...and neither is particularly hard hitting. They're both sort of romance-y and light. Which makes sense given the subject matter, I guess. It does add to the strangeness, though!

pick4.5 Stars!!! While not my favorite, this book is fun and as cute as can be that I had such a difficult time putting it down. The plot is fast-paced, light-hearted and easy to read. The characters are genuine and relatable. There‘s humor, a bit of mystery, some drama, great friendships, lessons to be learned and a swoony romance.
