#TBRtemptation post 2! #BEA17 edition! Coming out next month. This is the 8th Jack Parlabane installment, but it can be read as a standalone. Sam Morpeth's left to fend for himself & his younger sister when their mom goes to prison. A stranger begins blackmailing his sister online. Meanwhile, reporter Jack's back on his career path when a debt's called in which could cost him everything. Sam & Jack have a common enemy. #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎

TheLondonBookworm Other wise known as 'the last Hack...Jack' ..... that joke might only make me laugh 🙄😅 8y

"... to everyone else he just looks like a fanny who won't play the game." ?
Christopher Brookmyre has such a delightfully Scottish way with words...

Pickpick

#netgalley. The latest in the Jack Parlabane series. An edgy young, female hacker with a difficult upbringing and a journalist who is trying to make up for past mistakes. Sounds familiar? Less bloody than "The Girl..." books, but Brookmyre does a great job of creating tension with cyber crimes, which -let's face it- is a difficult task. Also, bonus points for a central character who is POC. Couldn't put it down. Hope Brookmyre keeps 'em coming!!

rabbitprincess I loved Brookmyre's Jasmine Sharp trilogy. Have to get cracking on the Parlabanes! 8y
