pickEven better than the first book in the series. Thrawn is an excellent villain, certainly a character that deserves a live action appearance. Of course, is also fantastic to see Luke, Leia, Han and yes, Lando, doing their thing. Zahn is a great storyteller and I look forward to finishing this trilogy and moving on to the next.
With the absolutely super cool awesome and amazing news that we are getting a live action Thrawn I have to spend at least part of the weekend continuing the original Thrawn trilogy. Loved the first book and the tagged book, it‘s sequel, does not disappoint so far.
Old school Star Wars at it's best.

This novel manages to bring so much humanity to characters throughout and I cannot wait to see how this trilogy concludes!
I‘m loving Leia and Luke a ton, but I‘m also excited to see what happens with Mara Jade and Grand Admiral Thrawn!
Some #NCBDs are just bigger…and better…especially those when you go to pick up your comics and then come home with some new books too because one of the employees is as big a Star Wars fan, if not bigger, as you are and always holds new editions for you. Yeah, I really, really love my comic books shop.
pickAnother exciting Star Wars adventure. It seemed scattered at first, everyone running off on different missions, but it came together wonderfully as the New Republic raced to reach the Katana fleet before the Empire. Nice ominous cliffhanger sets up the final book of the trilogy. 5 🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫.

I have now finished the second of Timothy Zahn‘s Star Wars trilogy and I have to admit I‘m getting sad. The second book was much better than the first, and has me upset that I only have one left. The humor, relationships, and action so far have felt like a page-turning soap opera and I‘m not ready for it to end! (Don‘t read this page if you haven‘t read the book- it‘s the last page!!)
pickAn amazing addition to the Star Wars epic! The second installment continues to reveal the machinations of perhaps the best antagonist of the Star Wars universe, Grand Admiral Thrawn. Anyone who loves the classic Star Wars canon (now called “Legends“) will enjoy this series immensely.
I had fun with this #AlphabetBookishQuiz, although I had more trouble coming up with my answers than I thought I would... it‘s not like my parents named me “Quentin” or “Xavier”?! 😂
pickThese books are bizarre but fun. Book 2 was definitely better than book 1. I‘ve read so much of the current Star Wars Disney canon that I‘m excited to be only at the beginning of this part, even if it doesn‘t link with the movies. Leia as a beginner Jedi and force user is amazing, I love it. Listened on audio, by far the best way to experience Star Wars fiction ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is the sequel to Heir to the Empire. Zahn is so good at foreshadowing and creating puzzles for his characters to solve.

Finally finished painting and antiquing the second of my now bright green goodwill chairs for my kitchen. I didn‘t get much reading done this weekend. There was quite a lot of Diablo III and some household chores.

I've been in a bit of a book slump. The only time I seem to have for reading these days is in the morning as I chug my coffee before heading to work. I decided to pick something propelling and familiar, so Star Wars!
Today is my Saturday. I'm relaxing at a local cafe until I take my husband to the airport. He's going on vacation in Europe and I'm staying home with the pup and my books. Call me crazy, but i didn't even wanna go lol. I hate flying, and I'd miss my sweet pupper. Colorado has everything I need to see. I'll just read about the rest thank you.
