This was a great wintry thriller by one of my favorites. The story involves family that gets dragged into a terrorism plot by one of their own. Very suspenseful throughout, very engaging. My husband and I read it together using a combination of audiobook and print copies. I just love Ken Follett‘s work, both his thrillers and his historical fiction.
My husband and I are reading this together. We started listening to the audio to/from vacation last weekend, and now he has picked our physical copy up to keep going. I‘m listening throughout the day on my work commutes. I LOVE Ken Follett and am thrilled that my husband has begun to love his work too.
This one is thrilling and reminds me a little of my last book read: The Drift by CJ Tudor. Follett always keeps me on the edge of my seat.
I love Ken Follett‘s historical fiction series, but was surprised how good I found this thriller book. Certainly a book I wanted to keep reading, & not put down. Some really interesting characters, a good plot, some great dialogue & some believable ways in which the story was resolved. All in all Ken Follett showed the wonderful writer he is once again. Can‘t wait to continue with the other books in his catalogue. Surprised at this book‘s rating.
Ken Follett is an excellent storyteller. Whiteout is a page-turner that does not disappoint. A missing deadly virus canister, a deadly snow storm make up the plot of bio-terrorism. riveting thriller of romance, family relationships and company security. characters are well-fleshed and believable. suspenseful and entertaining. I look forward to reading more Follett in the near future. I highly recommend to those who love suspense thrillers.
Not saying we have a lot of snow... I‘m saying we have so much snow that I‘m going crazy!
Time to try one of the mystery and Suspense books written by one of my favourite historical fiction authors, Ken Follett. Reading this along with @EadieB and @Tove_Reads

It was definitely worse on the highway, but still not pretty. Chilling in a church parking lot until I feel okay to finish my drive to school.
@EadieB @Andrew65 Ordered Whiteout and Echoes again... will def not make it to Echoes buddy read, not sure about Whiteout either ☹️ So frustrating! 2 book packages and 2 others have not made it here in the last 2 months.
Thanks for the inspiration, @MrBook ❄☃️😊 #LitsyLovesLibraries #BookDisplays #LibraryDisplays #BookBingo #whiteout
I blame you, littens! Just ordered 18 books. Books I have to read, but the library system does not have them. I‘m a bookaholic and I need BA!
Whiteout is one of the #50wordsforsnow. And look, a Follett book under 500 pages! This one takes place during a blizzard on Christmas Eve so I may read it in a few weeks. ❄️ #winterwonderland ❄️
Here‘s the list for #KenFolletBuddyRead starting January 2019, book/month. Feel free to join us! @EadieB @Andrew65

Ich sage Eisfieber "Byebye" nachdem mich die Protagonistin enttäuscht hat und kein bisschen Ziel in Sicht war. Dafür fange ich jetzt "Ich. Darf. Nicht. Schlafen. " von S.J. Watson an.
Bisher sehr spannend.
#Winter
