Last year, the Barnabus project won the #WCCPBA. So my students want more. This arrived as a donation. I used it as a bonus #readaloud in my library yesterday. 😍 such a beautiful read #underthedustcover

#7days7covers #CoverCrush Thank you @Addison_Reads for tagging me! @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks I know you‘re busy but try this out !
Wrapped up #booked2019 Spring with these 3 books. Tagged book was a cute children‘s picture book with wonderful illustrations of tree animal sculptures. Previously completed:
🔹clifi : The Dry
🔹 food/bev: Whiskey in a teacup
🔹 musician: The Most Beautiful: My life with Prince
A lovely children‘s book about a small town coming to life after discovering topiaries in their trees each morning. I loved how the book started with colour only on the trees and then by the end the people and town were very colourful as well. My three year old really enjoyed this and asked to leave it beside her bed for tonight as well 4🌟
My super sweet neighbor, Eliza Wheeler, is an amazing artist and newly minted Sendak Fellow. She knows that I have been a fan of the Fan Brothers since they started posting on Society6. Guess who her fellow Fellows were...yep, The Fan Brothers. They were kind enough to send a signed copy of their book home with Eliza. Squeeeeee! Littens are the only ones who won't 🙄at my #fangirl freak out.

Cute story, yes, but the illustrations are 😍 😍😍. I love the muted greens and grays.
A beautiful book, both in terms of story and illustrations. Will be buying a copy for my personal library v v soon!
Today's library haul! All were on my list except for Library at Mount Char, which just sort of jumped into my hands. Plus my former boss/favorite librarian gave me some recommendations for next time, which is always awesome!
