I checked out this collection of Perrault‘s fairy tales that includes 8 stories, read The Sleeping Beauty last night, and read Cinderella this morning. These versions were very familiar and enjoyable to read again. I‘m going to continue revisiting each of the fairy tales in this collection over the next few days.

I just got home from watching the Russian National Ballet performance of The Sleeping Beauty. It was phenomenal. It makes me wish that my childhood dream of becoming a ballerina had come true. #ballet #fairytale #dance

I honestly could not come up with an #authororcharacterwhosharesmyname (though my name is not uncommon.) I'm sharing this instead. For years a babysitting would read me Sleeping Beauty, replacing the name Aurora with my name. I loved that she had my name. (Until I was old enough to read and was angry at the deceit.) #riotgram #bookstagram

I've been burning the reading candles at both ends, and now I'm so tired I can't pick up my book! Early night for me. I need to be well rested for weekend reading 😀
