pickI love the Corinna Chapman series because imo, it epitomizes the definition of a #cozymystery — It‘s laid-back (rarely has to do with murder mysteries so doesn‘t stretch believability), and feels like slipping into a cozy nest with a cup of tea. Corinna and her little makeshift family that make up her apartment building, Insula, make me smile and wish I had friends like that. The descriptions of delicious food make my mouth water. 🤤 5⭐️
pickIt‘s December in Melbourne, and while Corinna Chapman hates all things Christmas, she is looking forward to some much-needed time off. But first, there‘s a little matter of a missing pregnant girl to find, and a rose-loving donkey to contend with. I wasn‘t keen on the 3rd book on the series, but this one is back on form.

pickA wonderfully gruesome cover for a brilliant book (needed a break after heavy non-fiction). I adore Kerry Greenwood, so much so that I left my beloved books in storage when we moved OS (“for 2yrs” 4yrs ago) because China was on an anti-foreign Fiction kick but I missed them all so much, I‘ve been rebuying them on the cheap (hence the LP edition). They‘re worth it. This is non-Christmas Christmas writing at its best. Highly, highly recommended!
