Comes the Blind Fury
Comes the Blind Fury | John Saul
4 posts | 7 read | 7 to read
A century ago, a gentle blind girl walked the cliffs of Paradise Point. Then the children came -- taunting, teasing -- until she lost her footing and fell, shrieking her rage to the drowning sea... Now Michelle has come from Boston to live in the big house on Paradise Point. She is excited about her new life, ready to make new friends... until a hand reaches out of the swirling mists -- the hand of blind child. She is asking for friendship... seeking revenge... whispering her name... From the Paperback edition.

Someone donated a bunch of John Saul's books to the bookstore I work at. I've never read him before but this sounds so fun and creepy! Plus I love the cover art. 😁

Evening reading: I am on a horror kick the last few weeks! John Saul always scared me the most when I was a kid. What‘s the scariest book you‘ve read? Me: In Cold Blood, until I read I‘ll Be Gone in the Dark. (Also, I love that the cover matches my chair. More like Comes the Blind Furry, amirite?😝)

MaleficentBookDragon @JoScho this one terrified me as a kid. So did Carrie. 6y
MrT The Treatment by Mo Hayder. I was born and raised in the same London Borough that the book is set in. Kept me awake for a good few nights! And Stephen Kings Salem‘s Lot and The Amityville Horror by Jay Anson scared the hell out of my 11 year old self back in the day. (edited) 6y
quirkyreader This looks like a #paperbacksfromhell cover. 6y

October is here and I have decided to post my favorite books for #AllHallowsRead
I read this a million years ago and it totally creeped me out. This cover is definitely imprinted on my brain.
I need to find a copy to reread.

Bklover Oh I used to read John Saul decades ago. Lots of decades. Loved them back then. 6y
