I‘ve got a bit of catching up to do, slowly but surely I will make it through this series. They are a great palette cleanser after too much lit fic
This packed a more emotional punch than I expected. A right wing leader is about to be elected in Austria and a Jewish man who investigates war crimes has his office bombed. As Allon heads to Vienna, he realizes a deeply personal connection to the plot. His mother‘s story as a Holocaust survivor drives the book and reveals a lot about Allon and Shamron on their work. I needed a propulsive read like this one that I couldn‘t put down.
Some weeks call for a return to a favorite series and this is one of them. Happy to dive back into the world of Gabriel Allon.
Great mystery. Mixed in with the Holocaust. Part of a series which would be worth a read
Only the 4th book In Silva‘s Gabriel Allon series, and the end of a three books tied together with Nazi and Holocaust themes.Loved this book the most so far.Silvas ability to keep a thriller pace going while interwoven in all his books a degree of history, art and sophistication,is quite a feat.Glad I have 14 books (so far) left to go!
Another good week!

Another great read in this series 👍🏻 I think I have another 2 in the pile - so will order some more soon.
Great spy thrillers and wonderful MC.

Working at home today, so definitely having my quick lunchtime read 😁 Next in the series.
Loving my backlist binge of the Gabriel Allon series. I mentioned to a friend how well the last couple of books were seamless from one to another and found out that books 2-4 were a trilogy-within-the-series. Sooooo cool. I did especially enjoy these three!!!

Here are my weekend reads and a pic from a hike I took this morning! Happy Weekending!!!
Just finished a chilling novel by Daniel Silva on a very chilly snow day. Seems fitting. I had to put this book down several times because I could not stomach all the vivid descriptions, but ultimately it soared to the top of my list. Once again, Silva has created a story with protagonists so fierce and moving that I feel I know them personally and was cheering them on at every clever turn.
