I've taken my 2 Japanese cookbooks - Japanese Cooking: A Simple Art and Practical Japanese Cooking; Easy and Elegant - out of the bookshelves to leaf through, but I have to say Shizuo Tsuji is a professional chef and his cookbooks are informative, but “simple“, “easy“ or “practical“ they are not 😏

Oh and in case you're wondering, the shutters are halfway down because it's scorching today 🌞

One thing I always dream about is going back to Japan! I fell in love with the county years ago, and already got a chance to go there three years ago, but there are so many places left to explore, so I'm really longing for returning ❤️ I also really want to take my boyfriend there, to show him why I am so crazy about this place😊

#cookbooklove for #photoadaynov16 Yeah... well... I kind of have a love/hate relationship with this book, because I hardly find anything *simple* about Japanese style cooking, but love the food and enjoy my life in Japan.
Anyways the book explains a lot about the basics and ingredients so it's very useful and I did get some nice inspirations from it too ^^ #japan
