DAMN NORA KILL HIM
captivated by these stories of post-communist Bulgaria 😍
if I lose this, I get to pay for the whole auditorium to be rekeyed 🙃
finally started this baby (I started seeing stuff about the movie, so naturally trying to finish it asap)
this floating head started a new book✨
book blogging is a go! so glad to be back in the swing of things 📚

Easy, casual read. Writing very conversational, not full of figurative language. Not a must-read, as the plot is kind of platonic and not very driving, but a average story of a man and his encounters with women after he loses his wife. Full review at:

In contrast to the bad place I was in last night (ps thanks💕), I got my first #BOTM today! 😁📚
unrelated to this book, but I cannot sleep. really needing support, even from some bibliophiles I've never met ❤️ excuse the tired and frustrated handwriting.
can I just say how great this weekend was? this is such a cool and supportive community of bibliophiles, and inspires me to read more. very grateful. ❤️
thank you, @Litsy and @24in48 ! you make us better readers 📚 #24in48 #readathon #stackemup

Bukowski's writing is so raw, putting a voice to his words in an audiobook would really enhance the tone. plus who wouldn't want to hear a cranky old man ramble about his love life? 💁🏻

still driving back from Chicago... might as well get a couple hours under my belt! #24in48
such a refreshing read. Straub writes so naturally, this was a great book for the summer especially. and to think, I probably wouldn't have picked this up if it hadn't been for other Litsy users!

"... Ruby had never, until this second, felt like she was watching herself become a part of someone else's story."
This might be one book that everyone should read in his or her life. It really makes you appreciate things and focus on living a full life. Wow. Much needed for busy and hurried people.

finally starting this, after what seems like everyone else has read it. better late than never!
LITerally so relieving to read after working for 13.5 hours ✨
Hated myself for picking up the popular love story, but I actually loved it. So many intricacies that were not in the movie to keep you on your toes. 4.5/5.

"I tore my heart out in front of you, and all you can say is "No, you're not enough for me.""
this is too real right now.
"Breathing in, I know that I am breathing in. Breathing out, I know that I am breathing out."
I kind of hate myself for buying this, but I only got like 2 hours of sadness from the movie.
so excited to read this book I was supposed to read in tenth grade but never did.
Took me a little while to read, but so intriguing. I love reading books set in realistic but unusual societies, and this definitely fulfilled that. It challenges certain principles of society, and our views on happiness and independence. Would recommend.
found an interesting note while reading today (the answer is yes)
Good read, but glossed over some discoveries and concepts that I would've liked to read more about. The topic was more interesting than I expected it to be, 3.5/5. For a more comprehensive review or some quotes from the book, visit the link on my page.
