Really liked this one! Am jumping right on the second in the series. Quietly enjoying these days that seem to go by much too quickly. Here's a picture of the moon beam and his Dada looking over some cliffs. Luckily it was a relatively warm day. Before this, he got all wet from splashing at the beach and we had to peel his soggy pants off. :) I love that unexpectedly, he clambers into our laps and plants kisses on us. ♥️ Don't grow up too fast!

♥️ just as engrossing as the first book. Next please! Thought it was interesting the way this one was set up. I also have some suspicions as to where certain character arcs are going.

This is also our last month in Portugal. Then back to colder Serbia then by this June, back home. It's been a crazy first 2 years of the little moon beam's life, and I'm so happy I've gotten this time to see him grow and develop.

Ridiculously in love with this book! Caved and bought the Kindle version of book 2. Fan girling and researching Rothfuss abd all things related to this book and find Lin Manuel Miranda is doing the music for the TV series. *Faints*

The name of the wind is amazing! I'm dreading when it ends as we are currently abroad and there are 9 people on the wait list at our library for the ebook copy of the second in the series. 😭😭

Enjoyed this. Quite an unsettling world, but Butler might have been a genius. ZZZzZZ'd through the new year waking only briefly at fireworks. Breathed a sigh of relief that the toddler slept through it (win!). There is an abundance of winter citrus in the back yard, so I may have to make a salted lemon tart 😏

Absolutely was bawling the last few chapters. 😭 Loved it, even if the characters were so unbelievably horrible human beings. Now time to finish a sweater to restore feelings of the warmth and goodness of humanity.

Also, "How awful it was, thought Tessa, remembering Fats the toddler, the way tiny ghosts of your living children haunted your heart; they could never know, and would hate it if they did, how their growing was a constant bereavement." ???. Picture is making crackers with the little moon beam

They say Rowling wrote Harry Potter in Portugal ☺️. Living here the last month and a half has certainly let me see how picturesque it is everywhere. Maybe the writing magic will rub off on me here too before we leave. Hmm... In between running after a toddler of course. Currently reading The Casual Vacancy (there was a copy left here at our Airbnb). Man, a lot of these characters are so nasty!
