Carlin would have a field day with the state of the world today. 😲 Narrated by George's brother, it felt like hearing George himself tell his story. I knew much of Carlin's history, but he lived even harder than I expected.

I enjoyed this immensely. I've always been a huge Letterman fan, and this book was just what I needed right now. 😊
Plenty of twists in this book, but overall it was a near DNF for me. Too predictable, and at times I was bored.
Elizabeth Strout does not disappoint. I'm a huge fan! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I'm giving it a pick, even though I had some issues. I think it would have been better to read it. I wasn't fond of the narration.
The Wives was a fast paced domestic thriller, with a few twists I didn't see coming. I enjoyed it. 🤓
Loving this book so much! I bought it a while ago but hadn't gotten to it yet. That TBR pile is huge 😁 I'd forgotten that I had the audiobook on hold at the library. When it came in, I gave a quick listen and was hooked. Narrator is Tom Hanks! Does anyone else like to have print and audiobooks at the same time? I love the versatility of the audio for bedtime and when I'm on the move,so I don't have to take breaks from a great story 🤓📚
Excellent! I'm looking forward to more in this series 🤓📚
I didn't know what to expect with this one. I checked it out of the library after seeing it everywhere. Unfortunately,I found it too Lifetime Movie-ish. It just wasn't my thing.
Excellent book! " The paradox of modern life is this: we have never been more connected, and we have never been more alone." ?
I seem to be spending a lot of time with audiobooks lately. My library has a great selection! Enjoying this one , but looking forward to curling up with books from my TBR pile soon. 🤓
Boy,I struggled with this one. I absolutely feel for anyone living in poverty and raising children alone, but something about this author just rubbed me the wrong way. I wanted to be sympathetic but some of her life choices made it difficult.
I loved this memoir. The story of family, complicated relationships, and the way our roles change from child to adult, caring for aging parents as their health declines physically and mentally.
Wow,this is off to a great start. Another great first read from my library 🤓📚
I hadn‘t planned on reading this, but it was available at my library so I grabbed it. I‘m so glad I did. I really enjoyed it. 🤓
A few more for my TBR pile. Hoping for some pool days soon. 🤓
A few pics of my house and street, and the path to the park where we walk our dog. #Litsyneighborhood @MrBook
I‘m pretty sure this was my first Lisa Gardner, but it definitely won‘t be my last. Lots of twists and turns kept me on my toes. This was just an ‘extra‘ audiobook, which I normally listen to just at night as I‘m falling asleep, but I couldn‘t wait to get back to it this morning.
Another library grab. I haven‘t watched the show for years, but I‘m always up for a gossipy behind the scenes story. 🎧📚
I was lucky enough to snag this when it arrived at my library. I‘m loving it so far! 🎧📚💕
Hoping this one is a real thriller!
I started listening to this last night and don‘t want to put it down. The story of the historic Chateau Marmont is perfect if you‘re a fan of old Hollywood. 🎧📚
I‘m hearing great things about this book. I‘m excited to get into it! 🤓
I normally love Joy‘s books but this one fell a little flat for me. I was disappointed with the lack of suspense. It was more chick lit than thriller for me.
Life has gotten in the way of my reading lately. 😒 I‘m hoping this book gets me out of the slump and lives up to the hype 🤓
I checked this out from the library without knowing what it was about. It‘s turning out to be quite interesting to listen to.
A hot cup of tea and a new book. The perfect way to warm up after a frigid outing to Costco. 📚☕️
This was worth putting my book down for. Sting, and the cast of his musical The Last Ship came to Oshawa to support GM workers who are losing their jobs with the plant closing. What an incredible show of support for our community. 💕🇨🇦 #happyValentinesDay
I love when I have the book and I can get the audiobook from the library too. 📚🎧 #currentread
Romance has never been my preferred genre but this was available at my library, so I‘m giving it a go. So far I‘m pleasantly surprised how delightful it is. Love the narration ! 🎧📚
I grabbed this from the library, not realizing it‘s the second book in the Rosato & DiNunzio series. It‘s better than Accused, without the over the top narration. An easy listen while doing chores. 🎧📚
I really enjoyed this. It‘s a quick read, wickedly entertaining. 🤓
Fascinating book about books and libraries told alongside the story of the LA Library fire of 1986.
Sipping Bailey‘s Salted Caramel while listening to Tony‘s Wife. 🎧🎄
I somehow managed to break my ankle the other day,and haven‘t been able to get comfortable to focus on reading,so I snagged this from the library. Not as great as I remember Robin Cook‘s earlier books, but still pretty decent. 🎧📚🤓
Hanging out by the tree, listening to Michelle. 🎄🎧📚
Recommended by a friend, this looks interesting. I‘m a fan of quirky characters,so I‘m looking forward to reading it. 🤓📚
This was enjoyable enough to listen to,but it was pretty light on content for me. Some sweet stories of Reese‘s upbringing , but not a lot I could relate to as I‘m nowhere near a girly girl 👧I chuckled when she said she can do a ‘quick‘ makeup in 20 minutes. 😂
Finally had time to curl up with my pup to finish this. Based on the classic Rebecca,it‘s a quick read, with characters that keep you guessing til the end. 🤓
