The Stranger | Albert Camus

I didn't finish The Stranger recently, but just got this copy yesterday because it's pretty and I can't pass up a sale.

It's one of those books I loved to hate. It was super well written but it was also extremely absurdist and drew the conclusions that there is no point to life and one decision is the same as another since they all lead to death... #depressing. I still suggest you read it at some point because it offers perspective.

Mini book haul from today. I've read The Stranger, but all the rest are new to me. Opinions? Are they any good?

Caraval | Stephanie Garber

oh my THIS BOOK THIS BOOK THIS BOOOOKKK!!! It was magical and whimsical, fake and real, nightmarish and dreamlike and I loved it all. It's pretty easily become a book that is taking over my world and I already want to escape back to the pages. It reminded me a little of The Night Circus. If you haven't read Caraval yet, I highly suggest it.

This book was so good and was filled with so many twists and turns. I enjoyed the adventures but I also liked that it was serious at points. Full review coming soon on adaster.com.

I couldn't finish Lady Renegades. I might go back to it later but it was losing my attention. I'm going to start Everything, Everything now and hopefully finish it in the next couple hours.

Thanks @saguarosally for creating #welcomelitten.

1. AZ
2. Everyone was saying it was better than all the #instagram problems we have had to deal with lately.
3. #TheHungerGames adaptations are the closest ones I have ever seen.
4. No, but I want one!

BethM I like this far better than instagram! Welcome!! 7y
asteraubrey @BethM me too!!! Thank you :) 7y
saguarosally I'm kind of in love with here and Instagram, but I use them for very different purposes. 7y
asteraubrey @saguarosally Yeah, I get that! I watched your story and completely agree. Instagram is more polished and selective as well as shorter whereas Litsy is more review heavy and it's not shunned to post more than once a day. 7y

Can I just say WHAT THE LITERAL HECK? It wasn't as good as the first but ended on a cliff hanger and now I *need* to read the next one or else. Full review will be up on the blog soon (adaster.com/blog).
