Just finished up Warm Bodies last night and it was so much better than I was even expecting. It was dark and heart warming and so beautifully written. Definitely highly recommend this one 👻

My second book, The Darkening Dragons, is coming out this month, and in honor of that momentous occasion, I am sharing character sketches to share a little more about the story. This is Tucker. He had a lot of dreams growing up, but between his dad dying, and an unfortunate sports injury, he lost his college scholarship, and decided to stay close to home to help his mom. Now he has to choose between his stable life, and a mysterious future.

This was a fun story. I got it in an #owlcrate box earlier this year. Pretty entertaining, relatively predictable, but with enjoyable characters and enough action to keep things moving throughout. Would recommend to people who want a light, fun story, with a decent level of intrigue, but aren't overly concerned with depth.

It's been a few years since I read these books, but I really enjoyed them. Well, maybe enjoyed isn't quite the right word. In truth, they were pretty horrifying, but so addictive at the same time. Such a shame that Mr. Larson passed before he could finish the series.

This was an interesting read. It doesn't hold a candle to the original, and I felt it relied to heavily on mysticism, when reality would have made it more poignant and frightening. But the cover is gorgeous and I did enjoy reading it.

This is one of my all things me favorite books, ever. Even though it is probably considered a middle grade book, I fell in love with it during college when I was a very lit snobby English major, which speaks volumes about the quality of writing and powerful story telling. It has traveled the world with me as well.

It's summer! Yeah! Girl Against The Universe is a great summer read. While Maguire's issues and experiences are a little extreme, the story deals very sensitively with teen anxiety and therapy, and I really enjoyed the family and friend relationship developments.

I'm only about a third of the way into it, but the story is maintaining my interest so far. A little diverse mermaid story to mix up a fairytale.
