Every horrible thing that Tara experienced in her life is just beyond me. How the hell did she survive all that? It was a powerful and moving memoir that will haunt me for a long time. 🌟🌟🌟🌟
I wasn't planning on buying a Murakami book but when I saw this edition, I knew I had to get it. This is going to be my first Murakami read and I'm kind of excited and nervous at the same time. Have you guys read this? Is it a nice introduction to Murakami's works? 😊

Our house was ravaged by fire a couple of years ago and my Harry Potter books were burned as well. It was devastating. My father would always say those were "just books" and I completely disagree. Those books were the reason why I became a book lover. So many good memories with those editions of HP. Now, I slowly want to complete my new set of HP by acquiring this Bloomsbury paperback copy of Deathly Hallows. ❤️

so-soHas an interesting premise. Dark and ominous just the way I like it. Quite good but it was lacking something and I can't exactly point out what it was. 😢 And oh, the ending wasn't good either. 2.5 stars.

pickI'm intimidated by classics and yet I've bought this copy ages ago. I've tried reading a couple of pages but reading it felt like a chore and so I decided that it wasn't for me. DNFed it and hid it at the back of one of my shelves. A few weeks ago, I saw it again and I finally decided to read more than a couple of pages this time and it was one of the best decisions ever! Such a gem! Haunting and relevant topic 'til today. #BlackLivesMatter
