So I have had this book since high school. I have read it numerous times and even now when I picked it up today, I still couldn't put it down. It has literally been one of my favorite books of all time, filled with romance, magic, and time travel. I love Marianne Curleys writing and how even after the 100th time, I am still enraptured with the characters. Even though I rather the old cover (the one on the left) I will always recommend it!

Oh. My. God. I absolutely adore this book. From the moment I picked it up, I could NOT put it down. I had to make myself stop just to do things like sleep and work. But this, read this, over and over again. I cannot wait until I read the second one.

At first it didn't catch my attention but about 1/3 of the way through I got so involved in the characters I didn't realize it, I was laughing when they did, I fell in love as they did, and got angry and nearly cried also. This book tugs at your heart and makes you laugh but at the same time is heart wrenching, as you actually root for the villain despite knowing it doesn't end well. buy it, read it, love it!

I absolutely adore this book. I could not put it down and wound up getting no sleep for work! it was a hilarious take on what if history got it wrong and the authors notes made me smile. I gave it a 5 out 5 stars. It was well written, the characters well rounded, and kept my fingers anxiously ready to turn to the next page. Definitely worth the read!
