Ok this was a weird book. It left me feeling lulled into some other reality-- ya super weird. But that is what Vandermeer is good at. I think I I sorta liked it? Not really sure yet.

Took me forever to finish this one. It's really good but I just wasn't in the spy thriller mood... great 👍🏻 writing though

Umm...ya. This was definitely an interesting read. Mostly it just left me feeling icky, BUT- that being said, the last 20 pages were soooo good. The ending was very well written & satisfying. I then had to go & google everything!

Finally got started on this. Not sure how I feel yet.

Ok.. I decided to not give a fuck if I finished this or not. To be fair I read more than halfway. I would rate this higher if not for the ridiculous amount of times the author used the buzzword, "metric". I mean really it started to drive me crazy. But in general some good advice sprinkled in amongst the fucks and metrics.

This philosophy seems reasonable.

Sadly, I just couldn't finish this. I just could not get into it. I've been trying to catch up on my backlist so I gave this one a go.

Ok . Finished this today. Mixed feelings. I know it is fiction, but this novel sheds light onto an Albert Einstein that is an absolute abomination. And this makes me sad. I am left reflecting on how women can freely get an education and pursue their interests now in a way that Mileva never could.

I'm half way through this & loving it! It is a nice pairing with the TV series " Genius".

Ho hum. I thought I would like this more than I did. Not that it was horrible, just slow paced & predictable.

Finished this today.... I liked it & am looking forward to the next. I won't be able to eat a tuna sandwich now without " Tooter-popkin " going through my head. I enjoyed some of the humor in this one with Rolan's funny vocabulary ?

This was a nice read. A little sad. A lot of insight into Cuba.... which was unexpected.

I am watching the new Netflix remake of Anne of Green Gables with my daughter... it is delightful!!!! Love love loving it. Lots of feels. ❤❤❤❤❤

Ok... I wanted to like this more than I actually did. I thought the way the Harley's story unfolded using the bullet wounds as a narrative technique was interesting, but still not enough for me to stay invested emotionally in the story. It was ok .

I'm going to bail. I just keep drifting off, and can't seem to follow anything. I think I might need to just opt for the film instead.

Ok. I love Patrick Ness. Maybe this wasn't my favourite one, but it was ok. It was quirky & sweet. A nice coming of age novel that covered some complicated feelings. I wish there was more about the "Indie kids" though. I'd read a book about them Patrick....
