If you‘re after a read that promises breakneck pace, a dash of black comedy, and a switch between narrators that only heightens the suspense, then this is for you. First read it a few years back and am now enjoying every moment of it again :)

“The Chronicles of the King‘s Tramp”, is one of the best fantasy series I‘ve ever read, and it begins with the amazing “Walker of Worlds”. If you‘re only used to elves and dragons in your fantasy, then you‘re in for a wonderful surprise. All I can say is grab your favourite book drink, settle in to your book chair, and buckle in to expect the unexpected. In fact, just writing this review has made me want to read it again :) #fantasy #mustread

Up until it‘s revealed who murdered the young boy, The Outside is vintage King. Yet, once the discovery is made, it lost some of its appeal, mainly because there was so much mystery and build up that didn‘t match the reveal. But hey, King‘s main characters are always interesting; seeing what happened to them kept me turning the pages, despite my increasing lack of interest in the main tale. #horror #mystery #thriller #suspense #stephenking
