Pretty solid!
For all of us who loved this show as kids!
This is book is perfect for YA readers who fall into that age category. I loved the feather artistry and how the author included French words. Something about it didn‘t feel quite right though.
3-3.5 stars
Do you think Ted Bundy is the Backstreet Boys of serial killers?
Do you too wax lyrical on the adventures of Smirnoff Vodka?
Have you ever wondered if you can talk about splenectomy in poetry?
Do you want to read the best review on the subtle art of not giving a f*ck?
If yes, then this one is for you.
Obsessed with this book now!
But I feel like there have been quite a few books on Clytemnestra recently and we all need to move on from marketing them as a story about a despised woman because literally no woman despises her in this day and age

I really do like this book. It‘s a debut novel but the author really does seem to have cared for the woman she‘s writing about. Fun fact: the maiden is a execution device
Super fun, but it‘s so modern that sometimes it gets to you. Overall, still super fun and references the myths in a way that a fan will appreciate!

This was an interesting enough collection! I wish I had the paperback so that I could experience the formatting better! It also reminded me a lot of the Angel of history.
Abyss is the first book I‘ve read in a long time that captures the inwardness and loneliness of an only child with messy parents. The novel also depicts the phenomenon of hyper-fixation. As an only child, this experience resonates with me, and I find it fascinating to see it portrayed in literature.
I‘m in love with this book and it‘s the first one on my things worth reading in 2023 list! A psychological thriller with twins set in the world of ballet! 👩🍳 😘
I‘m something
unreliable
and this
is a day for
poetry.
I‘m trying to understand why I liked this book so much and I don‘t know. Given that I don‘t have an answer, I don‘t entirely know how to recommend this book and how to write a review for it! I‘ll sum it up by saying that there are just some really wonderful moments that pull you in and honestly Eileen Myles is so much fun to read out loud!
Rituals of Parsing will live in my head rent-free but some of the poems have really cheesy and average bits that bring the collection down! Otherwise i like this debut!
This slightly darker take on the miscommunication trope was solid if you get through the cringe at the start!
This book is just shameless smut with some plot

Decent read with all the right elements. I just feel like there were too many plot holes and the main didn‘t have enough of a personality.

I like Emily murdoch but this heroine was tstl!
I DNFed this one! I just couldn‘t stand how the main character spoke! It just felt so out of place! And of course oblivious father and hunky love interest. If there was smut in here I would say this is perfect for people who have a adopted sibling but isn‘t sibling kink.
I am being harsh. I may start the book up again. Who knows.
I suspect that unless I read more house of slaughter books this may be my last read of the year!
It was cute and short!
This is a good start to a series! Think Time Squad but dark and for adults!
This was a fun read! The chemistry was great even if one of the characters seemed a bit tstl at the start (she grows on you)! I feel like the second book will be better, but I‘m worried I‘ll forget the magic system by then!
This was a good read! I also read up a bit about HI/LO books while writing my review and it‘s a bit annoying that Amazon decided to put this one in for 7-9 years olds instead of sticking to YA. This was fun though!
Don‘t judge me, but this was fun! Please do read the trigger warnings though if you do read it! #netgalley
While there isn't anything really wrong with the book, it just got slightly boring. We never really got into his time in London. Didn't really learn much about anyone. The main thing used to get things going in the book were the cats.
This book was cute! I did a whole review for it but it was as a whole a cute read!

This is such a good book! I stayed up until 4 am reading this and decided to work from home so I could read some more today!
For an enemies to lovers in a supernatural academy, not much academy and not much in terms of enemies. Do people know what enemies are??!! Also the MC is 17 and we got hit with the you're not like other girls line and some growling I was like hmmmm this probably did good on booktok. But as a read this did go down quickly so I get why people will like this.
I wanted to get through a regency romance book because I was like this will be a fun light read. But no, it was so boring. Also, armpit licking is a weird kink and no one can tell me otherwise.
I‘m not a sci-fi person but for this series I‘ll become one! Fantastic debut. Loved the interesting themes, but also how well written it was. The kind of thing that makes you want to slow down and read slowly!
The journal pages were pretty but the collection was disappointing.
Loved it! So so much fun! Perfect to sort of empty your mind and not feel terrible when you‘re in pain. I think I‘m going to watch promising young woman next.

Why am I so in love with the YA thriller genre?! How did this happen?! Do I love it more than regency romance now?
This was fun to do.
Also the cover is so perfect, like no filter needed it‘s just gorgeous!
This was a good read for #spooktober! Also was a tour book that I blanked out on so now I‘m embarrassed to request another book! This one was good though so it‘s even worse because the author probably thinks I disappeared because I don‘t like it! :/
Blythe Baird's collection is beautifully mature. Some of the poems make you sad, but there's a sense of a person who has grown up in these pieces which helps a lot; which gives you hope. That our personalities are more than what broke us.

This was so so so good! Mafia clans, witches, with gothic vibes and memorable characters
I had so much fun reading this one! 5/5 because I read it in one night!
Also, this helped with my feedback ratio on netgalley! So woohooo
I want this book so badly!
#QOTD: what do you think is the appropriate time to ask an author for an arc? #askingforafriend #coverreveal #iwantthis #iwantthemovie
I‘m a bit obsessed with this cover! But the book is also awesome!
