It is described as a "feminist thriller" and the set up looks intuiguing.
This one just came out this week! 👏🏻 It's a fun whodunnit about a despicable man surrounded by women who would've loved to be the one to say they killed him. Alas, someone got there first. But who? Seven women's motives are revealed and it will keep you guessing til the end. 🔪

What an impressive debut novel! It opens with quite the hook— 7 women gather in an unused corner of a seedy motel with the decapitated head of the man who hurt them most lying before them. They all had reason to do it, but which one actually killed him? From 8 perspectives (the 7 women victimized by the victim himself plus the detective who investigates the death), this fast-paced read feels a little cumbersome at first but soon can‘t be put down!
Great mystery. It starts with a head, but only the head, of a man with a whole list of suspects. Any one of these women he did horrible things to might have killed him. But also, where is the rest of him?

I‘m on the fence about this one. W/ so many point of views, it sometimes felt choppy &I had a hard time connecting to any character. Jamie was obviously a horrible man who had wronged many people (these women in particular), &the mystery of who killed him when they all had motive was intriguing. I wish however that we didn‘t have quite so many POVs. Overall, I didn‘t love it or hate it, &I don‘t know that I‘ll remember it by the end of this year.
