Such a great mystery! A lot of twists and turns and so hard to put down. Hoping it becomes a series.

“Home was a huge sky; it was flat fields of poor land fringed with hawthorn and alder. It was birds in flight; it was columns of midges like smoke in a summer dusk” Deirdre Madden
The first couple lines of this book just sucked me in and I cannot wait to read this lovely book.
Fast paced, edge of your seat, twisty, roller coaster type of read. Fun read but maybe just a tad too fast paced. Great for a summer afternoon. Definitely recommend Taylor Adams.
One of the few books I‘ve given 5 stars to. So terribly beautiful. Hard to read but impossible to put down. This book will stay with me for a long time.
“If you‘re lonely, sad, and blue, the Whisper Man will come for you.” Such a good suspenseful mystery with just the right amount of creepy. Highly recommend for a good Fall read.
So enjoy this cozy mystery series. A little music, a few ghosts, whiskey, Ireland. What‘s not to like? Just about to start book 3 in the Gethsemane Brown series.
I just love this mystery series. I just tore through the first 4 books in the series and can‘t wait for Lepionka to write the next one. Solid mysteries, fleshed out evolving characters and just great story lines make these books so hard to put down.
Just loved this book. Beautifully written. My favorite so far this year.
“To understand the gunfight in Tombstone, stop-now-and watch a clock for 30 seconds. Listen to it tick while you try to imagine one half of a single minute so terrible it will pursue you all your life and far beyond the grave.” Mary Doris Russell
"The family of Dashwood had been long settled in Sussex." Jane Austen
Loving the Dublin Murder Squad series. Just starting book 4. So good.
Cant wait to start the 3rd book in the Dublin Murder Squad series. Love Tana French.
This is what a cozy British murder mystery should be. So good. My weekend is set!
"If they don't see the happiness in the picture, at least they'll see the black." Chris Marker, Sans Soleil
"Far away, through the curtain of mist that suddenly enveloped the village, an iceberg glinted." Tate-Michel Kpomassie
"For Kpomassie, Greenland is the never-never land where children know best, dreams come true, and everyone lives happily ever after." A. Alvarez
Traveling with Connie Willis. What a treat!
My first Toni Morrison. I can't believe it took me so long to read one of her books. So perfect.
"Someone else may have dealt the hand, but I picked it up off the table, I played every card, and I had my reasons."
The Eighth Story. Nineteen Years Later.
"It isn't the big things Peter does that make her want to leave him; it's more the smaller things, like sticking her in his pocket in the middle of a thought - these demeaning, shrinking things he does that make her feel as trivial as a sneeze."
Past the rusted gates and untrimmed hedges, Hill House broods waits.....
I've read mixed reviews on the second book in The Passage series by Justin Cronin, but I am loving the audio book!!
This is the first book of Louise Penney's that I have read or listened to and I love it. The audio book is fantastic. I find myself sitting in the driveway continuing to listen to it after I arrive home from my commute. Can't wait to start with her first Inspector Gamache book and listen to them all in order.
Only on page 25. So interesting and compelling. Can't wait to jump into it!
"If you happen to pass by 84 Charing Cross Road, kiss it for me? I owe it so much."
100 pages in and the writing style in Ruby reminds me so much as that of The Known World by Edward Jones.
Great audiobook. Variety of talented narrators bring this book to life. Absolutely charming. I now want to visit Guernsey.
