This fall, my husband and became pumpkin farmers. We grew hundreds of different pumpkins on a little plot of our 10 acres and set up a stand to sell them. That‘s what initially drew me to this book, how does one become a millionaire and one of most widely used distributors of pumpkins and melons? It seems like very interesting story.....
A surprising couple of twists at the very end, one of which really did catch me off guard. At times I thought the main character Emma was misrepresented, other times completely crazy. I‘ve always like the way this author can switch between timelines without losing the readers attention as well sprinkling in the adolescent viewpoint as well as adult themes.
Getting into the spirit of Halloween and ghost stories, this one has been good so far but waiting for the twist still....
