raqueldonna Such a great genre & subject choice, I bet lots of kids are fascinated with sharks & would love to read something like this! You could have kids do a "scavenger hunt" & search for facts within the text or just provide this for IR 6y

It helps students know that school is a safe place which is the type of environment we as future teachers want to create in our classroom. 6y

Kayladvazquez I think this book would be perfect to share when coming back from summer vacation. I would read it as a read aloud and then have the students share what their summer vacation was like. Then I would have them go to their desk and have them compare and contrast their summer vacation to the book summer wonders. 6y

KDrake I have recently discovered this book series as well. I believe all of them would be a fantastic addition to a class's library. I own the one on former President Abraham Lincoln and one from the sister series: "What Were the Salem Witch Trials?" These books are easy-to-read, interesting NF and B books for kids! 6y
