I needed a break from murder. This book is excellent.

Also, I couldn‘t figure out how to unfollow people so I blocked them, but listen— fuck transphobes! Fuck JK Rowling! Trans women are women and trans men are men and trans rights are human rights. If you disagree, go away and eat bees.

Read this bad boy in a day. Don‘t know what I‘d rate it, but I know I couldn‘t put it down and sometimes that‘s all I want.

Trying to get a book club up and running with some local guys starting with this one. I feel like I should be taking notes because I want to fully absorb what I‘m reading here.

Our October pick. Had to get the mass-market paperback because someone flurmed the library copy out from under me. Mavis (pictured) is into it.

I chose this book because of its cute cover, even though it‘s a ebook. About 16% through, like it so far.

Jeptha Addison said, “That‘s the smartest man I ever met.” But Jeptha was so amiably stupid everybody was the smartest man he ever met. It was a worldwide tie.

I can‘t resist a P&P adaptation. What am I supposed to do? NOT read it? 🤷🏼‍♀️

This library hold came in the day I finished my last book, instead of how it normally goes, which is the hold coming in after I‘ve just checked out 4 new books. #bookclub

I‘m really not in the mood for this type of book right now but it‘s due back soon, and it‘s less than 300 pages long. Anyone read it? Hoping it‘s not another “unreliable female narrator” trope but seems like it might be.

There are enough good unreliable female narrator books out there that are good. This one isn‘t.

Adorable YA I found at the library. It made me feel feelings. (Also - really excellent cover art!)

RaimeyGallant Love the cover. And welcome to Litsy! #LitsyWelcomeWagon Some of us put together Litsy tips to help new Littens navigate the site. It's the link in my bio on my page in case you need it. Or if you prefer how-to videos, @chelleo put some together at the link in her bio. @LitsyWelcomeWagon 6y

Who likes continuously reading about how “fat” the main character is (it says shes a UK size 14, which is a US size 10/12...😑) so much that it spoils the book? If that‘s you, here‘s your new fave.

WeirdAtHeart I felt the same way when I read the book. However there is a tiny bit of growth in the book so I stuck it out till the end. It wasn't an awful book overall though. 6y
Holliesplaining @ThrillerQueen I considered DNF‘ing but I‘m too far in to quit now. Gonna power through! 6y
WeirdAtHeart @Holliesplaining I know that feeling, I thought about tossing it back into the library bag and saying forget it multiple times but each time I thought " well I've read this far already might as well finish" 6y
