I listened to this as an audiobook because I figured it would be an easy fun short book to listen to while I draw. And even though I was right about that, it did disappoint me. It was indeed a fun simple short book, but in the movie more things happened and I was constantly waiting for those things. Since the book is the original, if I would rate the book without comparing it to the movie, I would give it 4/5 stars because I did really enjoy it 😊

I don't have many, but I have a beautiful A Christmas Carol by #CharlesDickens that I found in a second hand bookshop in Edinburgh 2 years ago. It doesn't have a publisher or a date inside, but there is a little note written in one of the first pages that says:

To: Jimmie
From: Rita. with love
Xmas 1933

So it has been published before that and I'm very happy to own this old copy 😊
