The tagged book finally came in as well as a bilingual Curious George story treasury book for my daughter! I plan to read my book on our flight to visit my fiancee's family in Puerto Rico. We are so excited everyone, except Jon, has never flown on a plane or barely left the state of Kentucky. The trip is soon, I won't say exactly when, but when I return I'll have plenty of pictures! 🇵🇷🎉
I've been loving the books my daughter has received from the Imagination Library program. The tagged book is the first book every child receives regardless of age, the rest are sorted into age groups and what your local library sponsoring the program chooses. One more reason we all love Dolly 💕 Absolute icon! 🤩
Has anyone ever tried the website recommendmeabook.com? It's pretty neat, and it helped me find my next read(tagged book) that I plan to order. The main way it works is the 'Read A Page' function. It has a bunch of filter options you can put on or not and it'll choose a random book and let you read the first page of it. If you are into it you can choose to reveal the book or move on if you aren't. It has other functions too, just try it!
pickI will only say the ending was a touch anticlimactic but otherwise it was a good read. Very creative and enjoyable I liked this take on the sleeping beauty story. First book I've finished in a while, I feel proud of myself even if it was just a novella.

Someone decided we needed to go on ahead and come now 😄 say Welcome to Marialynn Esperanza 🩷 Born Oct 3rd around 4-5pm at 9lbs 13oz and 21 inches. She's being monitored in the NICU, but in general, she's pretty healthy. We're so in love with her!
I went into the OB today, and it was decided that I'm to come into L&D at 6am on Oct 7th Monday and be induced. Baby M.E. is going to share a birthday with me if all goes smoothly! We're thrilled to finally see her!
It's so crazy how fast this pregnancy has flown by! She's almost here, and I can't wait. I just wish my mama was here to see this. It's been one year without her, and it hurts so bad, especially because I knew she wanted to have a granddaughter so badly.

pickAt first, I wasn't sure how to feel about it, but I fell in love with it by the end. Some of it felt really personal for me, and the deeper you go, the more complex it gets. I know some people were confused by it, but I think I get it. It's hard to explain it, but I loved it.
11 weeks down, and baby finally looks like a real baby! Can't wait to find out the gender. Everyone has been guessing, girl, so far. I'm currently reading the tagged book above. I gotta get the baby interested in science early, right?

My heart has been so broken, and I'm so full of grief. My family lost our matriarch, my mama. I'm left to take her place and take care of my younger brother. She died 2 days after our father's 10 year death anniversary. It happened August 30th but it still feels like yesterday. I'm broken friends 💔 I don't know what to do. I'm so numb. I need all the prayers and good vibes I can get for my family.
