Here i am, sitting in a bar and writing down my two cents on The Assassin's Blade. I really enjoyed TAB and i don't regret the choice i made at the beginning of the year to read this prequel only after i was done with the ToG serie. I feel like if i had read this first, i wouldn't have been SO surprised by the revelation of Aelin's plans at the end of EoS. Reading TAB was like going deeper and finding out the reasons why Aelin took such decisions.

??Wintersong is charming, dark and poetic. it's gracefully written despite the Goblin setting which i thought would gross me out. Instead i felt like i belonged to "The Underground" and i enjoyed reading about its rotten decadence. It was also disgusting enough for me to miss the life above and relate to Liels.??The pace is slow and the book feels more like an introduction to something i hope to find out in the sequel! #book #books #wintersong
