@24in48 just finished my 1st book of the marathon...I had started it a few days ago but saved it to finish this weekend. I won‘t be able to do a full 24 hours of reading this weekend as I have to work all day tomorrow and this afternoon/evening but enjoying my bookish morning #24in48

I‘ve been very delayed in posting because iv been listening to an a absurd number of books...I‘ve finished this series, finished book seven of the Outlander series and started the 8th and am also listening to the Magicians series....I‘ve been trying be be out and about in this glorious weather so listening to books helps that. And helps me clean lol 😂

Sent out my #JAS box! Sorry for the delayed post about it...I‘m a special education preschool teach who works 2 jobs and got my first day off in a month and a half on Saturday! So excited to open my box on Friday!

I think I need a week to process and grieve and then I can start the next book...but in the other hand: I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!!!

Got to work an hour early some how so I‘m going to see if I can finish this book!

Seriously, I can‘t believe it‘s been over a year since I reread all of Tamora Pierce... now I can‘t stop! Debating starting book 3 or going to sleep...it takes me around 2 hours to read one of these so if I start it now I will be done around 11pm...ahhhh the troubles of a bibliophile! What‘s a good name for an Uber Tamora Pierce fan????

Nothing says nostalgia more than reading this book, laying on the couch at home in the farmhouse while it‘s a real feel of -1 degrees! Thank goodness for wood stoves, tea and sheepskins. Boy, do I love coming home ❤️

Ok, for any Tamora Pierce fan, you the struggle; the pain has been real waiting YEARS for this to come out. Numair is a most beloved character and we have been waiting so long to hear his story. This book explains so much!!! I seriously can‘t wait for the next one already and hope we don‘t have to wait so long again. 🤩😁😍

I‘m a special education preschool teacher at an inclusive preschool. My classroom is typical and special education students between 3 and 4. I started reading the first book & every child LOVED it! Even my student who understands English but speaks mostly French keeps asking for more! The fact that I can read a chapter book to these kids is one thing, but that the all love it is another! Now I just need to find an inexpensive way to get the rest!

Picked up this book this afternoon and am a third of the way through! Anyone here as big of a Tamora Pierce fan as I am???

Starting the morning a little slow but very content to spend most of the day reading. I decided I didn‘t want to see how many books I could read but just wanted to read a good book...just happened to be one in a trilogy so now I‘m seeing if I can make it to book 3 by the end of the Readathon...this is so much fun to see what everyone‘s reading, have the challenges, and just get back into long hours of reading ❤️📚

Reading for 4 straight hours means I stop being able to focus my eyes but boy is this book worth it! It‘s basically Pillars of the Earth but set in a different time and different parts of England...and written in 1960! So so good! Calling it quits for the day night all!

I‘m bouncing between 3 books currently: The Heaven Tree by Edith Pargeter, the Beast is an Animal by Peternelle can Arsdale, and A Breath of Snow and Ashes by Diana Gabaldon...I find by doing this I break them up and keep it fresh...I have gotten sucked into The Heaven Tree something fierce though and think I may focus on just reading the trilogy for the Readathon! Has anyone read it?!? #24in48

Started this while out babysitting because it was the easiest to carry...can‘t figure out if I like the style yet...now I‘m home and switching back to The Heaven Tree because I know I like that one!

Finished book 1 for #24of48! 2 hours in...this book was spectacular! 😍

#24in48 finishing this book after a year of false starts and no time! Read for an hour this morning and listened to 20 minutes of my audiobook on my way to my morning break- a beer release and tasting...now back to reading for the next 4 1/2 hours!

“Rose sat alone in the big best parlor...” #Readingnostalgia for #24in48 the oldest children‘s book I have in my apartment at the moment...more are at my moms house! This copy is from 1927 and was my granny‘s!

It's been a crazy few months so very little reading or listening happening but on book 4 of this breathtaking series!

Listening to #3! I'm a special education teacher so lots of paperwork to do and listening to audiobooks helps make it easier! Such an amazing series!

Listening to the end of the book...the audiobook is breathtaking...if you haven't read or listened to this series: do both!

I bought this book yesterday and am almost done! It is amazing! I love hearing about young Queen Victoria! The writing is wonderful.
