I was sucked into this story from right for the authors note from the owl crate box and then with the first couple of pages.

It was definitely a love letter for fandom lovers. It spoke to the Fanfiction lover in me, and to the geeky introvert who also had trouble making friends in the real world.

There are monsters in the sea ❤️

This book wasn't for me, I was pretty bored with it, there was nothing really wrong with it, I just didn't connect with it, pretty simple middle grade book. I chose it for Summer book bingo- Middle grade book

Rise, Red as the Dawn

Really wanted to love this book and ended up just liking it, the writing style was not my taste. The plot was good, the characters were flawed and real which I love, overall it was a 3.5 star read for me ❤️💛💚💙💜
