Holy shit this was a gripping and powerful story. One of my all time favorite books now and I would definitely reread it even knowing all the twists and turns it takes.

Loved the care that went into researching witchcraft for this book. Aside from the fantastical aspects of magic, the aspects of witchcraft were spot on. I wasn't expecting the multiple twists until right before they happened. I stayed up late reading the last 50-100 pages because I didn't want to stop. 5⭐
Going to try and read this one with a chapter a day method. I haven't read a classic in a LONG time, so the writing is dry to me and hopefully reading it in small increments will be better for my enjoyment😊
THIS NEEDS TO BE READ BY EVERYONE...such a powerful book...
These words right here ring so true, even now and it breaks my heart...
Decided to start this crucial book right here
Great book for beginner Wiccans/ Witches. I read this as a refresher since I've been a practicing witch for years, and was glad to find out that I retained a lot of the information from this book. It has its roots mainly in Angelic Wicca, but can be adjusted to fit any pagan path, and any witch's practice.
My goals:
finish The Beautiful, Deadly Sweethearts
Start Witches of Ash & Ruin
First book done for April #bookishbingo!
Anna K. made me nearly cry at the end, I was not expecting that turn of events. Though that might be because I haven't read the original Anna Karenina yet...

Loved this one! Reminded me a lot of American Panda by Gloria Chao, but seemed to handle more about adulting and being your own person with sacrificing tradition or heritage.
This is supposed to be my reading chair, but it has been overtaken by my cats...
This was an adorable story about fitting in and love and trust. It's also based in Chicagoland, which is my hometowns so that's a bonus! I need more books set in the Chicagoland area...
First book of 2020! This one was actually quite disturbing and the atmosphere reminded me of Megan Shepard's retellings of classic horror like Jekyl and Hyde and Frankenstein.

I am putting a restriction on my book buying. We moved into our own apartment and need to cut expenses where we can. I already have a lot of books on my shelf and multiple libraries to use, so I'm going to focus my reading on those instead of buying new books to read!😆

Has anyone else done something like this? How did it work out if you have? I'd love to know!
I did a tag! Trying to stay with the tag Tuesday theme every week, and so far it's been working so yay!
This week I did the currently reading tag; check it out here! ⬇

I would recommend this one to people looking for romance novels that are on the cusp between regular romance and erotica. Not too graphic, but still was realistic.
