I expected more ! This was not as good as The girl on the train but good enough to keep me gripped till the end. Well written story with lot of characters and nicknames which made me go back and forth a few times trying to remember who they were. The end is pretty much what you guess it is with a small twist :). All in all a decent ,one time read.

This was a fast paced read, almost like watching a movie. I was expecting the secret to be revealed at the end, instead of midway through the story. Pick this if you are looking for a quick light story that will keep you involved till the last page. 👍

Beautifully written historical fiction(Tajmahal trilogy#1) about the mughal empire. This story is about Emperor Jahangir and his twentieth wife NurJahan. The description of the mughal life, court activities, festivities, women in the harem, mughal architecture, the royalty, hunger for power and the age old romance is so good it immediately transports you to the magical 15th century. Cant wait to read the other books in the trilogy!!A must read guys !

Picked this one up after reading the reviews on goodreads . Definitely not my type of book. The narration is very descriptive but there is nothing surprising about the plot. Owen and Duncan's friendship feels very real . The first half of the book is good and a quick read but second half has a couple of boring patches. I would say its a very masculine book and pick this if you like reading about greyhound racing , dog fighting and boxing .

A classic is always a classic!! This was my first Agatha book and it was one well written murder mystery. The story unwinds so simply to the reader and yet it is so difficult to make any correct guesses until the last few chapters. She is definitely the master of mystery!!😍 #agathachristie #mpoirot #murdermystery

Picked this up thinking it will be an entertaining chic-lit , it was so predictable from the start and totally failed to impress. Some parts are fun and readable but the rest are overly described and felt like a drag . :(

keelymorgan Totally agree 8y
Jess7 I'm sorry you didn't enjoy this as much. If you enjoyed the movie, you may want to to try it's follow up book. It was nice to see what happened to Darcy Rhone. 8y

This book was entertaining and a quick 2 day read . The story was very predictable though thanks to the so many "the girl on the train" type books out now :P . Lo's claustrophobia is so well explained that it is almost repetitive and so are few other descriptions in the book. Good for a travel read.

Meh ! 😏A very slow start , the story manages to pick up towards the end though . Had high expectations from Amish Tripathi after his last book Krishna Key but this was a big let down . The only good part was reading about Shiva 😍

SinghRaghav A most fascinating book.....I had read it all three books in one week.....because when I was started reading my mind was gone in the world of melhua 7y

Gobbled this one in 2 days ! Even though the storyline is predictable and looks like its right out of some disturbing psycho thriller movie , it is very well written and a pretty fast read . More like horror not thriller :P

Totally speechless after reading this one ! So heart warming , it made me cry so many times while reading. I could not stop thinking about this story and the characters even when I put it down to do something else! It has been ages since I read a book like this, that made me sit through 3 straight days to finish it. Cant wait to watch the movie ! "You is kind , You is smart , You is important ".❤
