So I picked up the entire Fever series by Karen Moning a few weeks ago from my local library, but I haven‘t been getting through them as quickly as I hoped. I decided to switch to my kindle and just check them out one at a time from CloudLibrary because it‘s cold out and Im trying to leave the house as little as possible but I also feel bad having six books sitting on my bedside table waiting to be read that aren‘t my personal books.

It's weird how much people change..... It's kind of sad, if you think about it. Like there's no continuity in people at all. Like something ruptures when you hit 12 or 13, or whatever the age is when you're no longer a kid but a "young adult" and after that you're a totally different person. Maybe even a less happy person. Maybe even a worse one.

I absolutely could not get into this book. After struggling with the first one in the series, I figured this would be the case. I tried the audiobook and only made it about ten minutes before I bailed because the narrator was just not making the book enjoyable at all.
