Would be a perfect #weirdathon book. Man loses his wife and a crow (yes, a crow) moves in to help him deal with his grief.

These short stories made me ugly cry twice & tear up another time. Some stories are stranger than others. There's a ghost, a man who grows a cabinet in his chest, a ship with confused grandmas on it, and a world where people grow arms only when they love someone.
The stories are about how our bodies & our selves are not entirely our own. How we belong to others & how the loss of others affects us. Her writing is stunning and surprising.
A bizarre and unsettling story about a woman whose life begins to quickly spiral out of control when she decides to become a vegetarian. A cautionary tale that is less about being a vegetarian and more about the family unit. I liked it.
