Since I signed up for a Halloween swap, I think I should actually post about books I‘ve read the last 2 months. I like Adams‘ Secret Book & Scone Society series, so I knew this would be a fun cozy mystery to listen to. Set at a book-themed resort, with a secret library, interesting characters, & murder. Will continue the series on audio.

Storyton Hall is a hotel/resort for book lovers so I‘m going to say that the Book Retreat cozy mystery series is #SetInHotel 🏨 I‘ve just read the first two so far.

The Meg Langslow books have become one of my favorite comfort reads. They‘re light and fun and I kinda want her life (the main character, not the author although I‘m sure she‘s lovely.) This book was heavy on farm animal exposition and improbable, but I still enjoyed it.

I didn‘t love this as much as Big Stone Gap, but I did enjoy it. It almost felt a little bit like a prologue to Demon Copperhead in a way. The mines are closing but the opioid epidemic hadn‘t set in for SW Virginia yet. #Backlistreadathon @Clwojick @TheAromaofBooks

#AwesomeApril starts tomorrow and my plan is to not get out of bed until I‘ve made a dent.
