pickAdmission: I did not know who Gabourey was before I read this book. I requested from #Netgalley on the basis of a snappy title and a sassy looking miss on the cover. I was not disappointed. It's a lively read and Gabourey's childhood and journey to stardom are fascinating, moving, funny & engrossing. She writes in a youthful informal style but her self knowledge & confidence are those of someone much older.
