Awwww look at this lovely gift in the mail from @CarolynM I gasped audibly when i drew out Yellowface which i have been coveting from all the posts ive seen. And then Barbara Pym who i adore and what a beautiful cover. The micro cloth and the gin and tonic soap are so pretty and the chocolate will be a winner melted in some hot milk as you suggest! What an amazing gift. I especially love the card - I Read - Thats What I Do. Perfect! 😂😂

Ok Littens. I have this adorable journal but can‘t possibly write in it until I figure out where. Would you go on dotted line, beneath dotted, or right thru the middle?!??
It would be WAY too hard for me to choose a best of list this year considering all the books I‘ve discovered and loved in 2018. I liked nearly all the books I read this year, rating all but six 3 stars or above. I will give a shout out to Lonesome Dove, though, for becoming a new all-time favorite.
The study rooms in the new branch of the public library have dry erase walls, so I left this celebration/thank you message on Friday. Came in this morning, and the librarian told me they'd posted it to the staff website!
I have this clock hanging in my office, and it's definitely how I feel today! Why do dissertations take so long to write?
