Girls Burn Brighter | Shobha Rao

Beautiful story of devotion and sacrifice for female friendship. Rao writes her characters so intimately- I felt as if I was on the streets of India as Poornima and Savitha experience heartbreak and horrifying abuse as they try to find their way back to each other. Read this one with the tissues nearby. #LitsyAtoZ #TheLetterG

GarthRanzz I‘m glad you‘re enjoying it Allison! I‘m enjoying seeing all the posts! This one I also need to re-read. Especially before watching the Netflix adaptation. (edited) 7y
bibliobliss @GarthRanzz Ooh Netflix adaptation? I better check that out! 7y

Wow. Thrillers are my faves and this one did not disappoint. As always, the author created so many twists and turns that i couldn‘t put it down. If you like thrillers...and mysteries...this one is for you. It‘s early for this, but this one will probably be one of my favorites of the year. #LitsyAtoZ #theLetterG

MidnightBookGirl Her books are dark but totally compelling! Really loved this one too! 7y

a.shelf.life What's litsy a to z? 7y
Linda906 @a.shelf.life Litsy A to Z is a reading challenge that @BookishMarginalia created. The challenge is to read a book for each letter of the alphabet where the title, author‘s first name, author‘s last name or mix of both! It‘s fun! 7y

I finally finished! 500+ pages! I really enjoyed this. I wanted to finish before the Stars series ended. I'm glad I did. The book is so different! As with all historical fiction, the Authors Note is so informative! I like the idea that the boy wouldn't want to hurt his wife, or Elizabeth. It made me want to learn more about Henry VII. #LitsyAtoZ #theletterg #g @BookishMarginalia

This tale of 3 sassy, kick butt ladies was so much fun to read. I was surprised to find out that much of it was based on real life events in the early 1900s. Great blend of historical fiction and lady sleuthing. I'm so glad that Amy Stewart decided to continue the adventures of the entertaining Kopp sisters in a series. I'm in! #LitsyAtoZ #TheLetterG

shutterbug_mama Can I borrow this from you? 8y
