Well this book, was that situation. Three sisters live on an isolated island with their mother and father ( the ONLY man they‘ve ever known). They‘ve been taught boys/men are dangerous. Then their dad disappears and 3 men appear on their island. What‘s a girl to do?? #BoysDontCry

Cinfhen It was so odd...the premise was so promising but the book really didn‘t deliver @TrishB @erzascarletbookgasm I read it as an ARC and I basically skimmed through. Maybe I missed the good stuff 🤷‍♀️ 6y

whatsthEStorey I bailed on this one. I found it jarringly odd and could not connect to any of the characters. It reminded me a little of Gather the Daughters. I must‘ve missed the good stuff, too! 6y

Cinfhen I also kept thinking about Gather the Daughters @whatsthEStorey and I didn‘t like that book at all!!! Ask @Kalalalatja she gifted it to me because I had wanted to read it so badly. I think it‘s perfectly fine to skip this one @Mdargusch and it‘s too bad because the premise sounded good. 6y
