*Tagged book is written by the front man, Carl Gardner, and his wife, Veta. In 1987, The Coasters were the first vocal group inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. (The Everly Brothers were inducted in 1986, as a vocal duo.)

Denmark has 8.750km of coastline, and you are never more than 52km away from #thecoast, no matter where you are at. This book (which I haven‘t read) is set in a little coastal town on a small Danish Island, and tells the saga of four generations of men going out to sea, and the families they leave behind.

When I think of #TheCoast I think of the Oregon Coast, one of my very favorite places. I spent many a summer vacation there, all the better with a bowl of Mo's clam chowder, watching the kites on a sunny, breezy day. The tagged book (the 1st in a cozy mystery series set at a kite shop in a coastal Oregon town) has been on my Kindle for a while now. I hope to get to reading it soon before the number of series books gets daunting! 😉
Day 4 of #lilithjuly made me think of pirates! After all, they do a lot of work on #thecoast!
My Nan was born and raised in Great Yarmouth, a well know seaside resort in Norfolk, England. By the time I was born, she‘d moved to another seaside resort, Frinton, in Essex. I spent many a week during the long school summer holidays with my Nan by #TheCoast
