Mummy, she‘s gone…‘
Gemma Ballantine is getting ready for work one morning when her eldest child comes running down the stairs, saying the words every mother dreads.
The front door is open. And her six-year-old daughter has disappeared. Frantic with fear, Gemma starts a nail-biting search for her little girl.

EadieB After what feels like forever, her mother-in-law Diane finds Katie wandering lost a few streets away. Relieved to have her youngest child back in her arms, breathing in the sweet scent of her hair, Gemma thinks the nightmare is over.
But then her perfect family starts to fall apart.
And she realizes it‘s only just beginning…

EadieB This is an addictive psychological thriller of secrets, lies and betrayal. It has interesting characters and a plot with a heart stopping final twist. This may be Shalini Boland's best book ever. If you love psychological thrillers then this book is for you. I would recommend this book as a great read that you will love. 2y

Toxic school mums, money worries, paranoia, and murder... The Best Friend is a chilling psychological thriller from the Bestselling Author of The Girl from the Sea.
They say to keep your friends close and your enemies closer ... Wrong.
Louisa's new best friend has it all - the house, the status, the money.

EadieB But she's also hiding a dark secret. And as Louisa is drawn deeper into her friend's life, events take a chilling turn . . .
"Sit on the edge of your seat and prepare for the ride!"
This is a fast-paced intense story. The characters are friends to begin with until things turn nasty. The plot is such that keeps me looking at my friends rather closely.

Nina and Zac have acquired a new home close to the sea for a fresh start. Friends and family have gathered to help celebrate. The dream quickly becomes a nightmare as the lights go out. Other things have gone wrong since Nina and Zac have met their upstairs neighbors, Chris and Vanessa. They came down with food poisoning after eating at Chris and Vanessa's upstairs.

EadieB Arguments were overheard from them and nasty reviews shaking Nina's business. Is someone trying to destroy Nina and Zac? I read this book in one sitting as I couldn't put it down. It hooked me from the very beginning. The twists at the ending were a real surprise. This is a psychological thriller that will keep you guessing until the very end. I'm looking forward to reading more of Shalini Boland's books. 3y

Zoe fainted on her wedding day. She‘s feels something bad happened. On her 10th year anniversary she finds out the truth. psychological thriller that kept me riveted. well-developed characters. plot kept twisting until the very end. different timelines switching from Now and Then. ending complete surprise. epilogue - sequel is possible?

My first time reading Shalini Boland and now I need to read all of her previous books! This one centres around 2 estranged sisters. From the first page I was hooked and the suspense just kept building. Just when I thought I had the mystery of who was sending the letters solved, Shalini throws in one curveball of a plot twist.. Thanks to #netgalley #shaliniboland for giving me the opportunity to review this book
