This one was only okay for me, definitely not my favorite by this author. I didn't connect with the characters and the plot just didn't have the stakes necessary to hook me and invest me in the outcome, but this book comes highly rated/recommended, so while I found it underwhelming, many readers found it thrilling.

This is another captivating thriller that had me wanting to snuggle up at night reading it in the dark, fully enveloped in the creepiness that just kept on building. Another unputdownable read from Shalini, with just the right amount of creepiness, dark characters and twists to keep you hooked and to be believable. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Shalini Boland has written a wonderful example of a psychological thriller in this book. At times it is like watching a train crash happening and not knowing when it is going to stop or what the end result will be.
