On the 9th day of Christmas I pick The House Across the Lake for my #September2022 best book.
I am a big fan of Sager and this book did not disappoint. It went off the rails towards the end in the mist delightfully unhinged way. So much fun to read.

Andrew65 Sounds a good read. 2y
ChelseaM6010 This book was my introduction to Sager and it hooked me! 2y

I learned so much about Louisa May Alcott in this tagged book- I recommend it if you are a fan. The Little Women book is mine from childhood.

Andrew65 Sounds perfect for any Louisa May Alcott fans. 2y
mom2bugnbee That version/cover of Little Women has always been my favorite. This was the one carried by my elementary school library & I devoured it multiple times. 🥹 2y
sarahbellum I also had that copy of Little Women growing up! 👧🏻 2y

Broad high level discussion of 10 most pressing current geo-political border conflicts on the globe. I say discussion because author‘s biases were annoyingly obvious. 20 -30 pages is not enough to provide a meaningful understanding of any of these hotspots, but for a 10,000 foot view or initial introduction, it was okay.
