Tentative TBR for Dewey‘s Readathon. I am hoping to read at least 3 books in 3 formats but we‘ll see. I‘m also early voting at the library this morning so I might find something shiny there and ignore these 🤣
Simple and predictable, but I still want to read more by this author. Nora Goes off Script was great 💕
Dahlia‘s engagement‘s broken off & she‘s having a design block, so she returns home. Her childhood nemesis Julian challenges her to flip historic homes to save the business. Will their fights turn into something else? Will she get out of her block? Will she go back to the city?
This one was okay. The writing was better than most of her other books. I liked the little comedy it had. It was a little slow here & there. I wanted more romance & spice.
This was just the fun and joyous breath of fresh air I needed right now. Georgia and Eli's second chance romance reminded me of all the reasons love is worth fighting for and how special and precious that connection can be! Love is something that will always find its way back to you, and this book will have you look over at your person and go, “Yea, it is worth fighting to keep this feeling.
Ir's my Litsyversary! Can't believe it's been seven years. Thanks everyone for making this community the best! Love you'll! XOXO

Book Outlet romance haul 😆
I don't think this is Butler's best, but it's still a pick for me. His characters are always so real and his books are never even slightly pretentious. (Not that I don't like pretentious novels, of course. I often do.) I think my criticism of this one is that there were a few too many plot points and not enough character development. Having said that, I read it incredibly quickly (for me! I'm slow!) and found it engaging.
At the start of the weekend I realized I wasn‘t enjoying any of the books I was reading and bailed on them all which was so not like me. I made it through 50% of this audiobook before admitting that I just didn‘t care about any of it- the characters, the plot, the fact that nothing they did made sense to me. I thought about continuing because I have liked Butler in the past but I was honestly relieved when I gave myself permission to stop.
