As we find ourselves in a society that feels like it's on the brink of collapse, the lessons of science fiction feel more relevant than ever. On a less lofty note, I have a huge backlog of science fiction novels and comics that I've been meaning to read and/or post about. It's taking me forever to read this book. (Probably because, for the last three weeks, I've been reading five books at the same time. So much reading with so little finishing.) I normally refuse to watch anything based on a book before I finish it, but my husband was over eager to start The Expanse, so I made an exception. I've been staying just ahead of where we are in the show, and it's been interesting contrasting the two mediums. #scifriday
