Is 1996 retro? I have all the Vinyl Cafe books - the left is one of the first and the original cover. Now they are all in the style on the right. The new covers are great but the originals feel so much more Vinyl-Cafe-y to me.

Today's #bookmail! Another of my #retrocoverfun 1980s Twilight Series finds, plus s book by one of the presenters at my conference last week.
Some #retrocoverfun for #riotgrams. These classic yellow-bordered Dell Yearling editions were so familiar to me as a kid! I checked out a copy of A Wind in the Door with this same cover from the library when I was in 4th or 5th grade, and my older sister wouldn't let me read it because it "looked new-age-y." I sneak-read it at a later date. ?

#retrocoverfun with some of my 1980s yween favorite YA horror books. They are pretty tame by today's standards. I was too old for Stine and Pike, so these were it. My favorite was Blood Red Roses.
